Design Exchange supports Homeless for the Holidays in AFC living space redesign

Homeless for the Holidays is an annual campaign launched by The Ali Forney Center (AFC) to give a voice to the thousands of homeless LGBTQ youths on the streets of our country. During the holidays many of the young people who call AFC home feel a greater sense of rejection and abandonment by their families. It is during this time where many of these youths experience greater episodes of depression, anxiety, drug use and suicidal thoughts.

Design Exchange is thrilled to announce that we are revamping a living space at an Ali Forney Center housing unit in Queens, with new furniture, furnishings, plants, and decor for AFC residents to cozy up to, just in time for the holidays.

Last week we gave thanks for all that we have, please consider donating to The Ali Forney Center, the largest agency dedicated to LGBTQ homeless youths in the country. Click here to donate.
